MONDAY :

i met the babe up at her place t go down t east coast park together... to roller blade!

hah! its been YEARS since i last bladed, it was a good 3 years ago? and my blades were all dusty! hers was still so clean please!

she had a curfew, so time was pretty tight ): we bussed down (which took an hour) and we had macs for breakfast! changed to our blades there and bladed all the way down to fort road; and back.

its my first time blading with a girl hand in hand ! and the funny thing was that our leg movements were STILL DIFFERENT. we`d move off differently in step, my left and her right. OH WELLS GO FIGURE hah

SHE ABSOLUTELY HATED SITTING DOWN TO REST!!! claimed that we`ll sweat more so we`re always on the move . then we had ice cream at new zealand's natural before changing back to our slippers. i swear our feet felt SO FUCKING GOOD AFTER TAKING THE BLADES OFF.

bussed back to her house next, not before stopping by an aquarium looking at the fishes! random!

MET THE PARENTS YESTERDAY.
chewy's one that is.
i remember, i remember. we were outside downtown east's sakura waiting for her parents. i was changing my wallpaper to that of first company's (previously it was chewy's picture and i had t leave a good impression luh. hah. go figure) i locked my phone after... chewy was like . "aye they are here ."

WTF.

well chewy's dad didnt turn out to be wad i imagined. chewy said he was round and all, i didnt think so !

so the 5 of us, chewy's parents; her brother; herself and i got seated at table 88, courtesy of her mother's choice. hah. she is somewhat similar to my mother, superstitious huh. number 88 for a table, sweet!

i kinda expected her parents to interrogate me and all, since she's so young and we barely got together ( 2mths!) but her parents were pretty warm and easy going, no problem chatting with em at all ! and the fact that im in the army, i can get along with her dad talking bout army stuffs, heh.

and then her mum asked bout the gift that chewy gave me for our 2mth anniversary (a photo frame and a letter which chewy and her made for me )

i was at a loss for words, seriously.

fuck me for this, i`ll explain here.

baby came over t camp t fetch me home again (SWEET!) and she gave me our anniversary gift which consists of a photo frame and a letter she wrote. the gift was inside this black ermenegildo zelda paper bag.

when we got up the taxi, we were sitting real tight so i passed the bag over to chewy to place it on her side. after we got off, we left in the taxi .

it wasnt until when we were over at my place when i wanted to check out the gift ( she didnt allow me to peek at it while she's around ) then we realised we left it inside the taxi

i swear i was so fucking heartbroken.

it was those silvertaxi toyota crown that we left it in...

PLEASE, if anyone did see it return it to ME ): or at least pass it to the taxi company so that i can retrieve it.

do you know how fucked up it is, knowing that i will never ever get to read the EXACT SAME MESSAGE, see the EXACT SAME PHOTOFRAME that chewy baby made for me. till the day i drop 6 feet under, i wont be able to see it ): not until some kind soul returns it to me...

i called the taxi company to file a lost and found report. to no avail..

that night i woke up at 0237 am, and i had received a black message from an unknown number. I WAS SO HOPEFUL thinking that it was the taxi uncle trying to reach me. i called back the number and was like

" HELLO UNCLE, HELLO ARE YOU THE TAXI UNCLE .. ? "

" im ah hong lah. "

turned out to be one of my commando buddies who accidentally send me a blank text message..

i put down the phone, and thought to myself how fucking stupid and desperate i was to get back the gift.

and tears were kinda rollin down them cheeks...


i really am fucking heartbroken.

and i was right! god gave me a chance t know chewy and i feel so lucky now (: for one she made an effort t come all the way down to my camp t fetch me after i book out! we were supposed to go to the zoo cause she loves animals so , but because i booked out late we had to make do with a trip t ikea @ alexandra t get her photo frame. i remember when we were smsing earlier the week i told her how i loved t cuddle up in her so much, and that she gives such nice hugs and all. she promised t not let go the next time we hug..

and she kept her promise ;)

and did i mention she was nice enough t accompany me to visit grandma when grandma was warded last minute ? my aunts and grandma ADORED her (:

so we cabbed down to ikea and shopped! but didnt find the photo frame to her liking! cabbed back to my place to crash ( and watch zoolander ! ) before cabbing back to tanah merah for my niece's birthday party.

i swear shania's going to be so cute when she grows up, she looks so much like her mummy! small eyes and all .


and i sent baby back home after !

major surprise when i got back rom brunei in the wee hours of singapore morning. when i reached the arrival gates i saw my mum and she asked me to go to the taxi stand t wait for her van to come. i remember thinkin to myself why would she not want me to go straight to the carpark with her t go home! however i was too dazed to think bout anything so i just went anyway. while walking there i saw this girl sitting there at the waiting area by herself and she looked alot like..


CHEWY!

in fact its her! stupid girl actually came t fetch me at the airport! i was at a lost for words SERIOUSLY. i walked towards her and i wanted to hug her so much and tell her so much. but at that very moment everything just failed to materialize in action(and words) apparently she stayed over at theresa's and snuck out of theresa's to meet me at the airport! i was seriously damn touched.

met her again on wednesday! the eve of her birthday. we went down to vivocity and had lunch at marche. halfway thru the dinner i excused myself to the toilet but i went to pocketful of posies instead to get her a bouquet of pink roses! when i returned back to marche and presented the roses to her , i guess her reaction was pretty shocked and all. must be at a loss for words too huh!

then we had chocolate fondue! i spread the fresh whipped cream, dipped my fork in the chocolate and wrote "alex <3 chewy" on the whipped cream! neat huh! (: its the dp right there!

then she came over to my place t visit my dad . initially she thought that my dad was those silent hostile type BUT she found him pretty nice! chalk it up for dad! we watched a dvd < life is beautiful > and went t causeway point for dinner at Breeks Cafe. no surprises for her this time round thou!

i was messaging her till 11pm plus , was supposed to stay up till 12am t wish her happy birthday and all... BUT I OVERSLEPT!
